Meet Your HOA Board Nominees

David Spohn

My name is David Spohn. My wife and I have lived in this neighborhood for six years and care a lot about keeping our community safe, fair, and well run. I work as an investigator with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, where I’ve learned the importance of accountability and speaking up when something needs to be addressed. I believe everyone deserves to be heard, and I try to handle things with common sense and clear communication. My wife, Alania, and I are raising our two kids here, so I want this neighborhood to be a place we’re all proud to call home.

Dustin Weaver

My wife and I moved to the Caedmon’s Creek neighborhood in 2019 after relocating from the Charleston area to Columbia for my career. I am the General Manager of the Columbia, SC branch of Quality Beverage Distribution, a company still owned by the founding family of Cheerwine. When I was brought in, our warehouse was one of the lowest-performing among the company’s 11 locations across South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. Today, the Columbia operation I lead covers roughly one-third of South Carolina and has been successfully turned around.
In this role, I oversee all warehouse and distribution operations, manage payroll and staffing, negotiate and contract with vendors, build key business relationships, and handle a wide range of additional leadership responsibilities. I believe these skill sets could be of use for our neighborhood. 

Matt Gross

My family and I moved into Caedmon’s Creek 4 years ago. I want to assist the HOA in protecting ours and our neighbors' investment in their homes and community. I want to keep this community friendly, clean, and a great place to live.
